PM Premium includes everything in PM Standard and adds the replacement parts consumed during preventive maintenance. In practice this is the difference between an engineer arriving to inspect and an engineer arriving able to finish.
Because the wear parts are already covered, the engineer fits them during the scheduled visit rather than quoting, waiting for a purchase order and returning. For most laboratories this is the tier that removes the most downtime for the least money.
What's included
Service performed by a qualified service engineer
Every visit is carried out by an engineer experienced on your specific platform, working to your site's procedures and documentation requirements.
Hardware phone support
Telephone diagnosis for hardware faults between scheduled visits, so straightforward issues are resolved without waiting for an engineer to be on site.
Annual PM service labour included
One scheduled preventive maintenance visit per instrument per year, with all engineer time included and scheduled around your testing calendar.
PM parts included
The wear parts consumed during preventive maintenance are covered — pump seals and plungers, check valves, rotor seals, autosampler needles and the manufacturer PM kits for your platform. No separate quote, no second visit.
Not included in this tier
On-demand repair labour
Corrective repair outside the scheduled PM visit is billed separately. Contract clients still receive priority scheduling for these calls.
Who this suits
Laboratories running regular analytical work where an instrument being unavailable for an extra week matters, and where a predictable maintenance cost is worth more than the lowest headline price.
